For Conventional loans, orders should be placed in the UAD 3.6 format by early October 2026 as all completed appraisals submitted to Fannie/Freddie most be in the UAD 3.6 format on or before November 2, 2026.
Important: A completed UAD 3.6 report cannot be converted to UAD 2.6 format, and vice versa so please specify the format at the time of order. An appraiser will have to complete a new assignment if they are asked to complete a UAD 3.6, even if they have recently completed a UAD 2.6 order.
FHA and VA appraisals will still be completed in the UAD 2.6 format until hard deadlines are imposed by these agencies.
